and inspect the Generator

Completely strip stator, clean slots and record
data.

Carry out flux loop test on bare stator core

Rewind stator with new “F” class Resin
Rich coils

Install new 6 Nos. of RTD’s

Dry out stator in air-circulating oven.
-
Apply epoxy varnish in the winding
-
Bake the winding in air circulating oven.
-
Check Insulation resistance of winding, High Voltage
and Impedance test on Stator.

Dynamic Balancing of rotor
-
Assemble the motor with new bearing. Test, Paint
and Deliver back

Prepare appropriate jigs and fixture and break
open the pressure plate

Remove laminations one by one

Clean the entire core lamination to remove the
existing lacque

Varnish the lamination to the required finish

Restack the lamination

Press the laminations to appropriate pressure
-
Weld the pressure plate on to the supports

Test the core for hot spots

Rewind the stator with new resin rich formed
coils

Clean the lamination with special solvents without
disturbing its properties

Clean the laminations from any foreign particles

Varnish the laminations to the required thickness
and finish

Restack the core to the required dimension

Pressurise the core with require pressure for
accurate seating at required stages

Insert the pressure plate after the final stack
of laminations are inserted
