  • Dis-assemble and inspect the Generator
  • Completely strip stator, clean slots and record data.
  • Carry out flux loop test on bare stator core
  • Rewind stator with new “F” class Resin Rich coils
  • Install new 6 Nos. of RTD’s
  • Dry out stator in air-circulating oven.
  • Apply epoxy varnish in the winding
  • Bake the winding in air circulating oven.
  • Check Insulation resistance of winding, High Voltage and Impedance test on Stator.
  • Dynamic Balancing of rotor
  • Assemble the motor with new bearing. Test, Paint and Deliver back

Rewinding and CORE repairing of HV Generator Stator 3285 KVA 13800 Volts FOR SCECO –SAUDI ARABIA

  • Removal of grounded formed coils from the stator slot
  • Dismantling the lamination from the yoke
  • Prepare appropriate jigs and fixture and break open the pressure plate
  • Remove laminations one by one
  • Analyse the cause of failure
  • Clean the entire core lamination to remove the existing lacque
  • Varnish the lamination to the required finish
  • Restack the lamination
  • Press the laminations to appropriate pressure
  • Weld the pressure plate on to the supports
  • Test the core for hot spots
  • Rewind the stator with new resin rich formed coils
  • Varnish bake and test
  • Assembly

2480KW 6900V JEMOUNT MAKE MOTOR CORE REPAIRING FOR QATARGAS

  • Scrutinise the cause of failure
  • Dismantle the core from the yoke of stator
  • Carry out dimensional checks on the stator and prepare drawings
  • Fabricate jigs and fixtures as per the dimensions of the slots and align the same for proper fi of laminations
  • Break open the pressure plate and remove laminations
  • Check the cause of hot spots
  • Clean the lamination with special solvents without disturbing its properties
  • Clean the laminations from any foreign particles
  • Varnish the laminations to the required thickness and finish
  • Restack the core to the required dimension
  • Pressurise the core with require pressure for accurate seating at required stages
  • Insert the pressure plate after the final stack of laminations are inserted

REWINDING AND CORE REPAIRING OF ROTOR-3125KVA 13800 V GENERATOR ROTOR

  • Removal of entire rotor laminations
  • Cleaning the laminations
  • Varnish the lamination with core plate varnish
  • Inserting the lamination back to the normal position without disturbing the slots
  • Insert damper windings made of aluminium conductors 10mm diameter through the poles
  • Weld the conductors to the short circuiting end rings
  • Rewind the rotor with F class insulated strip conductors
